Lester Spence
Lester Spence is an associate professor of political science and Africana studies at Johns Hopkins University, where he is co-director of the Center for Africana Studies. He is author of Knocking the Hustle: Against the Neoliberal Turn in Black Politics (Punctum Books, 2015) and Stare in the Darkness: The Limits of Hip-hop and Black Politics (University of Minnesota Press, 2011).
